.. I have been DJ'ing and producing my own music for over 15 years now. I started back in the late eighties listening to old skool hip hop and electro and then moved into the dance scene in 88..... Started producing around 1992 under various guises but notably under the name 'Subtle By Design' Under this pseudonym we created a fresh sound merging classical instruments and arrangement against breakbeats, house grooves & drum 'n' bass rhythms. Tracks released were... 1st Movement In C Minor.. Space Dub EP.. Designer Beats.... I also have been lucky enough to DJ all over the world from Paris to Dubai and have run various club nights across London..... I love all kinds of quality dance music 'a good groove is a good groove' in my ears so can appreciate pretty much anything. Afro, Deep, Minimal, Breaks is my main DJ style but can drop in pretty much anything if it takes me. I now run and play at a monthly residency at The Medicine Bar in Hoxton. Got2Go runs on the 3rd Friday of each month and has featured Soul Avengers, Hoxton Whores & this month (sept) Raymundo Rodriguez..... Working on an album of my own with vocalist Andrea Britton which will feature minimal grooves, breaks and haunting melodies & vocals..... I am always on the look out for remix opportunities too so anyone ot there wants to chuck a vocal or idea my way then do get in touch.....
