Just got back to Cheltenham after an awesome month away in Europe! I was lucky enough to be invited to open up shows for Steve Winwood in Paris at The Bobino Theatre and also in Dublin at the legendary Olympia Theatre . . .
A good time was had in both cities and the new songs went down nicely in their first outings :)
Recording new material next month and looking set to go out and tour the uk very soon!
Hey folks! Just a little update for you. . . The last few weeks have been hectic with the band being away on tour and also playing at (The excellent!)Two thousand trees, Ynot and Big Chill festivals! Lots of great music, great cider and unlimited opportunities to wear the trusty green wellies :) Perfect!
Also, some fantastic news. . . . .
Steve Lamacq has been kind enough to play some of my music on his Radio 2 shows on 17th July and 7th August!! I have now by a great twist of luck been officially 'introduced' by Lamacq! Two weeks ago I had to go down to London to record a short interview and. . . thankfully everything went well despite a few nerves :) The show (on the 7th) is available to listen to for one more day but you will be able to check out the playlists on the Radio 2 site whenever you wish!
Tour dates are now being planned for late September - early October mainly in the south west and possibly London! Stay tuned for more info!
