I'm a songwriter from Walsall in the heart of the West Midlands, currently hiding out in Cheltenham getting ready to finish uni and let myself loose on the world. . .
So far on my musical treck I have been lucky enough to share stages with the likes of The Holloways, Fyfe Dangerfield (Guillemots), Frank Turner, Danny and The Champions of The World and Beans on Toast. I've also played at several festivals including Cheltenham Jazz Festival, Wychwood Festival, Two Thousand Trees Festival, Market Tavern Festival and Baggeridge Folk Festival alongside all sorts of interesting artists.
I've always sang mostly on my own until recently when I was kindly asked to join a few of my friends to play in their folk band 'Jim Lockey and The Solemn Sun'. It's all sounding rather lovely at the moment and the summer looks like it will be filled up playing a few festivals, releasing various EP's and LP's through the ISTARTEDTHEFIRE label, and gigging as much as possible around the country.
I hope you enjoy my songs and forgive my amateurish production skills.
Pop along to one of my gigs if you are around Cheltenham :)
I'm forever grateful to my friends and family who offer endless support and must know my songs better than I do!
Thanks a lot. . .check out Jim Lockey and Ruth Bewsey in my top friends. Cheltenham is a hiding place for several undiscovered geniuses!!
“Friday night at BASE STUDIOS in Stourbridge we film

There's always a crew there. The Bar opens at 7pm too and if you want more
