MySpace a place for friends

I'm all, some or none of the following things:

• A producer and director of short independent films, animations and documentaries.
• A mostly uninspired writer of fiction and non-fiction.
• A film reviewer / blogger sort of thing, which, like all bloggers, feeds my sense of self-importance.
• A motorcyclist.
• A musician.
• A volunteer at a local youth group.
• A really quite rubbish rock climber.
• A spectacularly average photographer.

Oh, and I suppose I'm a software engineer, too.

Somebody, soon. The phrase "David has 0 friends" has a terrible ring to it.

(Actually, I don't think I've quite got the hang of this MySpace lark. By "friends", you don't mean people who actually are friends already, do you? Or are you trying to tell me that some fourteen-year-old in Arkansas really does have 4,294 friends in real life?)
