Ok, a little bit about me. Im a vegetarian, I live in Bristol, England and I wish i could, and had travelled more, and hope I will very soon.
Heres a little musical history..
From the moment i bought my first proper guitar, I dropped out of college, formed my first band, and then underachieved all my musical ambitions for about 7 years whilst i learnt how to play, waited too long to do my first show and finally started putting music first.
I'd always meant to pursue my own songwriting and acoustic shows a lot sooner than i did, but a couple of years ago i finally started putting things in motion. I wrote my first set and recorded my first EP 'The Standing Sleep' at Bandit studios (Devil sold his soul, Fireapple red, Sleepshow).
I played my first solo shows in 2007 around Cheltenham and Bristol and then played further afield including an appearance at the 2000 Trees festival. I was lucky enough to play a couple of open mic's in Brooklyn, new York in 2008 as I travelled across America and as great as an experience as that was, I was also hit with the realisation that I needed to come back and work on new material closer to where I wanted to be musically.
So in What seems to have been a year or so away which in many ways it was, Ive started to work a newer more blues influenced set that I hope to debut songs from online as I write them this year going into next and start booking shows again for 2010.
