There’s a lot going on down at Hampton Youth Project – lots of chances to develop your skills, learn new talents, get guidance and information or just hang out with your mates… Each day there is something different going on for all ages from 11-19. take a look at our regular programme, and keep an eye open for special workshops taking place regularly, such as dance, music and fashion workshops. New sessions are being planned all the time so be sure to check out our up to date programme at www.richmond.gov.uk/youth_hampton. Its not just young people and youth workers you’ll find in Hampton youth project, we have two connexions pa’s based at the centre, and young people have the chance to meet members of the virtual drug project, cfbt careers guidance staff and officers from the safer neighbourhoods team for the area. the work that goes on extends much farther than just the project walls as well, we run an outreach project on the fulmer close estate, and work in close partnership with Hampton community college. Regular programme (term time) Monday 6.15-8.45 junior club: for those in school year 7&8, a chance to play pool, internet, arts, sports and chill out with your mates. Tuesday 5-9pm photographic workshop- in our own darkroom learn black and white developing and photography skills (s) 7.30-9pm girls group (s) 6.15-7.45pm basketball Wednesday 3-5pm HYPA CLUB(s) 5-6pm youth centre committee 6-9pm duke of Edinburgh award (s) 5-8pm photography drop in 6.30-8pm basketball Thursday 6.30-9pm senior youth club for those in school year 9 and above, pool, decks, internet, comfy sofas, footie, arts, careers advice… Saturday 11-1.30pm sports skills workshop Sunday 5.30-8.30pm basketball s=you need to sign up to these sessions
