Bio
In the BX borough, Kream was born, a name he has been known as since age 12. "GT Kream", it's simply what he's about and always has been about since he fell in love with Hip Hop and then eventually took it to the streets of New York. His path had a lot to do with his career moves in the booth. GT Kream started rhyming in freestyle ciphers at age 16, but he didn't get in the booth until age 23, so by then he was well developed and encouraged to pursue this profession amongst his peers and entourage, they all believed he was ready to take on much bigger and greater encounters in the entertainment industry. He always stated that he never was infatuated with the fame, it was the challenge in his level of creativity within himself as a growing aspired artist that has given him enduring passion for the Music, in which what began as a hobby has escalated into a pursuit of success with his art, and has given him the drive that was needed to succeed. He also had a saying, (GT Kream) "Even though I knew I had a gift, I never dreamed, because I came up as a little homie running wild in the streets, always living for today, because we're never promised tomorrow, and we all know fame and royalty checks don't come over night, so I never chased my career from the beginning, I was amongst Hustlers and ballers that became the allure to all the shit I wanted to achieve and possess, from jewelry to fast cars; therefore, fast money was my shit, whether it was wrong or right. Then I reached a certain point in my life which is a part of growth, my whole perspective on life went through a transition because of an epiphany at age 23. In seek of direction, I knew I didn't wanna be in the streets forever, I needed a legit grind, so poof, there you go, a star was born, and it was my biggest inspiration in life that has driven me to take this route, my daughter Kimore." His swag as a laid back artist with a swift delivery classifies him enough in which you can all understand why he's so different from the rest. He's like the modern day Big Daddy Kane with a sprinkle of Will Smith (Fresh Prince version), just upgraded enough to the qualified preferences on what's relevant in Hip Hop today and tomorrow. He helped develop a lot of artist (You all know who you are whether you choose to admit it or not!) and now, it's time to get it in, his flow and performance presently remains dominant. He always put it together in a versatile format and stayed true to himself. Whatever he's experienced in life or have ever interested him is what brings out the best in him. What his Rap career has lacked is consistency and a strong foundation, not as far as rhyme content, but as far as following through with performances, appearances, networking, etc. He didn't have the proper direction after the transition he's made from being managed by Stanley Kaplan Talent Agency as an extra in many independent films and a contracted model for Guess, Mecca and Garbaud in the early 2000's. Trying to branch out into groups and overlooking what his own talent has stagnated him for long enough. So the next project he releases is going to be his greatest work ever and will be released under Lay'em Down Recordz, which happens to be an Indie record label that his cousin Craze-A 730 is a CEO of, in which Craze-A 730 is currently in affiliation with Blokwork Ent. with Fred The Godson, Christian Dior, Paperz, Remo The Hitmaker, etc. (The list of members goes on), "this one is for the gusto" he says. Look forward to hearing him thru features on mix-tapes or other artist's tracks. This just means that it's time to focus on him, due to circumstance now, he's on his grind. -
