Bio
Gnossiennes no. 1 is a masterpiece composition by the French composer Erik Satie (1866-1925). It was part of a series of genius compositions entitled Trois Gnossiennes that were composed between 1889 and 1893. Later four more Gnossiennes were added. Gnossiennes no. 1, however, became a favorite of music lovers around the world. It has a somehow universal and timeless touch to it, so no wonder it is continuously being re-interpreted. Not only by classical musicians, but by jazz, world and rock performers as well. This page was made to celebrate the beauty of Gnossiennes no. 1 and to show how diverse the different versions of the composition sound. .. Do you know another exciting recording of this composition? Dear new friends.
I like to think you are my friends, truly. Even if it is just a social network, that it has no foot in reality. Or maybe it does; I did like your music; you did consider mine enough to accept my request. Isn't that a concrete truth? My Gosh! Social networking is keeping it so real. Anyway, thank you so much for the add, I hope you will visit me sometimes; I'll be baking a few songs waiting for you, and I hope you'll appreciate them!
Cheers,
Newer Not.
Thank you for the request.
Eric Satie is a great composer! (-:
Sincerely
Wine Gallery.
