About me:

I'm a stand up comedian/actress/writer/anything that pays the mortgage. Before that, I was an engineer, building and repairing Elevators I prefer what I'm doing now, believe me. I was born in London, England of Nigerian parents. Some people may know me from the Lenny Henry show for my character Tanya 'I don't fink so!' or the Nigerian Mum 'My daughter is going to be a doctor' Mrs. Omokorede. I was also the voice of Keisha Marie in Bromwell High-The late night animation on Channel 4, as well as doing various other bits of radio, TV, and straight to DVD movies over the years. I've won quite a few awards for my comedy, including BEST FEMALE COMEDIAN at the UK Black Entertainment Comedy Awards, in 2004, 2005, and 2006. I was a finalist on season 5 of LAST COMIC STANDING. I AM THE FIRST BRITISH COMEDIAN EVER TO APPEAR ON HBO'S DEF COMEDY JAM. I am currently living in Los Angeles, and lovin it! My new DVD 'Skinny B*tch' is now in all good stores and online.
