my first ever favorite band was the rolling stones, in early 1965 ( i was 12 and the first lp i ever bought was RS Now, the first 45 "Heart Of Stone," still my favorite rolling stones 45)
my fall 1965 i had pronouced them gaytarded lame useless idiots: which they were (my opinion has never changed per post-1965 crap in their discography, ie almost all of it), the new "cool band" was THE WHO w/their first three singles!
my credibility: infinite! considering that my brother and i were among the first 500 members the next year of the american Who Fan Club. (and that band didn't go totally gay/useless until 1969 w/Tommy)
