Like many middle and lower class families, Michael M, a.k.a. Dirty-$$, born in Bridgeport, CT on August 2, 1983 is a producer and artist. Lived in the projects most of his life. As a kid, he loved to perform and was a member of a boy's choir. Around the age of 13, Dirty-$$ was introduced to hip-hop and realized how strong of a message it can send. He also saw how much it influenced him and all the people around him. Growing up himself & friends and family that were in and out of jail, the music he was exposed to always reflected this kind of lifestyle, but he knew there was much more to hip-hop and felt that he can positively contribute. He collaborated with Connectikonz, Yung Wallace,Gifted Flowz, to create songs together. Some of the music they wrote were about the fun in life and the struggles. They also touched on the issue of drugs and violence but tried not to speak about it in a glorifying manner, rather speak about it as a fact of life. Dirty-$$'s main goal is to connect with people to let them know that everyone struggles, but life does not always have to focus on these struggles. All you need is a song to connect with and give you something to vibe with, to make you realize that you are not alone in the hardships of life. The songs that Dirty-$$ and the rest of the GANGSTA MAFIA/CONNECTIKONZ members write are songs written for people to relate to. Dirty-$$, has performed in numerous locations across the tri-state area that include New York, NY, Puerto-Riican day Parade in Bridgeport CT, Club Van Dome,Jackie Blues,Snuckers,Mingles, in New Haven, CT and Uptown Vibz in Hartford CT other places he cannot remember. Performing on stage feeds his ambitions of one day making his mark in the music industry.Also did several issues for a Street Connfinement Magazine 6 issues one with a 6 page article also Streetz Enigma,numerous mixtapes,with artist that are mainstream now.such as Papoose,jae millz,D-block,dirty-money records etc.. Dirty-$$ has also recorded with a huge Producer in the industry known as Steve "THE MIX KING"Sola- he's worked with and is working with various artist such as 50cent,mobb deep,eminem,nate dogg,gunit,biggie and the list goes on. Dirty-$$ was founded by Steve Sola in early 2006 from his myspace page that plays were increasing by the day. Scheduled in studio time and recorded my first track "Belly of da Beast" and then another hit "Smokin Glock".(myspace.com/gangstamaffia) you don't need an account to see his page. Dirty-$$ also worked with his first producer ever named Praise from Planet studio in Bridgeport CT. And then he later met Big Shove from P.T. Barnum housing where he resided between 2003-2006 and was part of the clique G.L.F.RAW,where him and his boyz would smoke drink and write music and create the beats from scratch. Dirty-$$ also ran with Dj Big Mike he was a friend /driver . When Dirty-$$ first moved to CT back from along time living in FL he was a club promoter for the Dj they met through a chick Dirty-$$ knew. he did promotions for all danbury clubs and later the whole state of CT and tri-state area. So he has experience in promoting and knows how to target the audience and his listeners. He then also worked with Dj Smoke "The Creator"he did Dirty-$$'s cd's and artwork. Master Genius Dirty-$$ adds. Dirty-$$ said when he first started to record in early 2002 his first ever recoded track"TAKE CAUTION" his first album K.I.U. (Keep it Underground)600 copies world wide.He states he couldn't catch the timing of the beat but his friend "Smoke"helped him learn what to listen for and how to catch it,he "laughs" he had several takes and was frusturated a bit,but then mastered it. .................. .... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .......... ...... .......... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ..
