Gabriel Meyer Halevy

Bio:

Gabriel was born and raised in Argentina.Grew up at the time of dictatorship and was a commited human rights & spiritual activist with his late father, Rabbi Marshall.T Meyer since age 16.He worked in theater/film and television as an actor,wrote in an underground magazine and then left Argentina at age 22. He became nomadic, published 2 books of poetry in spanish and became a massage therapist.He lived in the Greek Islands for a season, Paris for a year, New York for 2 years, Sinai Desert for 1 year and travelled extensively through Europe, Central America, Brasil, Ireland, Africa(several times), India and Native America studying sacred & awareness traditions , healing wisdom , music and dance throughout the Planet. Gabriel got a base in Israel 13 years ago in the Galilee mountains and co- created with Gil Ron Shamaa: The Metatron Ritual Theater Collective(Enoch - prince of presence - '94 , celestial wedding - '95 and Who Guards the Trees - 2001)pioneered the Hebrew Holiday Gatherings('97-2001 for a community of about 1000 participants)for the renewal of Israel's spirituality interfacing the Hebrew calendar with other spiritual paths. In 2001 co - created the cd Merkavah with Amir Paiss(Amen, Sheva) and co - founded the Sulha Peace Project for the Reconciliation & Healing of the Children of Abraham: Arabs & Jews, Israelis & Palestinians - interfaith and arts, grassroots peace gatherings for about 5000 participants developing the culture of listening and coexistence. In 2006 co - created the cd Spiritisreal with Avishai Bar Natan (Sheva). Gabriel moved last year from the Galilee mountains to the mediterranean sea.
