Gavin Sant aka Fullness, as well as playing drums in the band DUBHEART, has been writing and producing music since about 96, after a time of experimenting with various styles of music Fullness's sound is now firmly grounded in roots and dub reggae. Influences from the reggae glory days of the 70's are obvious, but the music is not purely retrospective, looking to the future with digi sounds, militant steppas and roaring heavywieght basslines. Even though at present all music is created digitally, Fullness sound trys to emulate and capture as much of an analogue feel as possible using a variety and mixture of FX and sounds, including live playing from horns, drums, percussion and melodica. Recently Fullness has featured playing horns on the new MICHAEL ROSE album Great Expectations produced by bredrin Paul Fox, as well as Pauls own album entitled Walls of Jericho which featured the track and accompanying dub No more fire produced and mixed by Fullness. Summer 2010 saw the relase of Fullness debut LP album ARISE fetauring the vocal talents of Izyah Davis, the CD and digital download is due for release in the late autumn. Also a 7" featuring Wayne Mcarthur is to be ready for release very soon, as well as other tracks from Zacheous Jackson, Brian Joseph, and Izyah Davis in the pipeline.
