FLEX is 1 ov the main men behind higher stakes which have been making a massive impact on the UK underground scene for the last 5 years but over the past 2 years have achieved more headway than any other crew from outside the m25 could ever dream off, DJ Cameo on one extra was one of the first to recognise and start supporting higher stakes about 3 years ago on a national level he saw from the effort and energy they brought to a show how much they could achieve and knew they were a force not to be reckoned with, the coverage though the BBC had a massive impact and this showed flex the support he had from all across the UK. .. .... The UK urban music scene has grown from London and now there is huge talent up and down the UK, It seems out of London artists never seem to be taken seriously by some of the top artists in the game, this in term affects public opinion. This all makes it allot harder for the UK scene to grow out across the UK and expand the level at which it should be, but as we all know nothing in this life is easy so flex realised he had to work twice as hard and stay true to himself even in the face of people not recognising how talented he really is, Flex is now reaping the reward of his hard work and has come though allot of the animosity but is getting booked for some of the biggest urban events and performing alongside the likes of Dizzy, Akarla, Ms Dynamite, Skinneyman, So solid crew. .. .... At the end of 2006 we put a free mix tape out with a mixture of material that flex has recored over the past years that did not get the exposure it deserved we put out 3000 promotional copies and free internet down load which was a massive hit... But now is the time for THE TRUTH REVEALED mix tape/street album which is showcasing flex's exquisite use of word play and metaphors mixed up with catchy hooks and enough swagger to kill, this is all served up with crisp sub sonic beats produced by JBUBBS from WORD ON ROAD STUDIOS Who has produced beats for many big artists both sides of the water including the likes of Graff from new York and baby blue from the UK. The mix tape mainly focuses on flex and there are only 4 featuring artists on the mix tape and every track is still a banger, it is a must hear to every lover of good lyrical music... .... The mix tape has been made in a format that it will be appreciated by anyone with a love for urban music there is such a big influence from rnb hip hop and ukgrime , the mix tape has been made to reflect flex's view on music which is varied and always on to new concepts, so many mc's get themselves pigeon holed into a precise genre or sometimes even subgenre, Flex's vision is so much more he is a lyrical genius that can only really be compared to the likes of papoose or Graff no one in the UK has really come like Flex... .... FLEX aka FLEX THE TRUTH, Has been a main character of the UK's outta London music scene He has been bringing together the best of outta London talent and un conditionally giving them the guidance and support they need too succeed in the UK scene.
