BUSTER CRABBE, the original 1930’s Flash won the 1932 Olympic 400-meter freestyle swimming championship, and in 1971 CRABBE broke the world swimming record for the over sixties in the 400 meters free style – a true superhero!
ERIC JOHNSON, who plays our favourite FLASH GORDON, starred as "Teen Tristan" in LEGENDS OF THE FALL. Brad Pitt played the same character as an adult.
The young GEORGE LUCAS was a fan of the old FLASH GORDON serials, and wanted to adapt them to the screen as part of his modern-day mythos.
