Firin' Squad Unsigned is going from strength to strength, so we thought that it'd be a good idea to give it a home of it's own.

This site is going to be the focal point for the Firin' Squad Unsigned Podcast series, the Firin' Squad Unsigned Live! events and anything else that pops off!

Firin' Squad Unsigned Podcast beat off massive competition to win Gold at the 2007 Sony Radio Academy Awards in the Internet Programme Award category, and was nominated at the Sony's once again in 2008.

With this series of monthly podcasts, Firin' Squad shine the spotlight on the hottest unsigned and independent talent, and bring through the heaviest underground sounds from the UK's urban music scene.

Special guests featured on the podcasts, in interview and with exclusive live performances have included Roll Deep, Faith SFX, Akala, N-Dubz and 2008 MOBO Award winner Chipmunk, to name but a few.

You can download the podcast for FREE and listen to it when ever you want on your Mac or PC. Alternatively you can transfer it to an iPod, so that you can listen to it where ever you want!

The series which was launched in August 2006 is fast becoming one of the biggest podcasts online, and on road! And now has received the highest accolade from the radio industry.

Firin' Squad Unsigned Live! is all about taking the unsigned and independent talent that we feature on the podcasts out on the road with us, on to the stage and to a live audience.

Our first show took place in conjunction with Flick The Bass at Fez Club in Reading on Friday, 11th May 2007. And it was very, very big... It sell awwfff, lol!

We had performances from A-Tola, Stylo G and the sensational N-Dubz, and they all smashed it. Check out the pics below...
