From a background of all kinds of music but especially my irish roots, I play solo acoustic gigs in venues throughout the lakes and beyond, covering latest hits, jazz, traditional, folk, country, blues, rock and anything you can imagine, all designed to provide evenings for the audience to join in and have a night out to remember and make them want to come back! The sing song is back but with an updated style and lots of requests for faves happily accomodated and in some of the most popular and stunning venues in the Lake District. Most of the tracks here reflect the songs and artists I am often asked to play in quieter moments at gigs but nights are often anything but quiet :) I also run jam sessions for other aspiring musicians to come along and enjoy the thrill - is that the word? - of performing for and with other supportive musicians and an appreciative audience. Anyone and everyone welcome! Hope to see ya! ....My Syrens are key to my chilled music - Katie, Eva, Adele, Suzanne, Kate, Cara, Alison, Amy, Tracy, Mary, Beth, Carole, Joan and hundreds of other gifted musicians the world shares with love; My favourite bands Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles, Kings of Leon, Snow Patrol, Paramore, U2 , Coldplay, Stereophonics, The Killers, and of course The Beatles, are key to lively nights. For getting me to this amazing point I am indebted to my mum and dad and Gerry , Richard, Caroline, Sandra, Colin Blakey of The Waterboys , Bill & Ali Lloyd, Paul Harrison, Allan , Ed at The Kings Hawkshead, The Wateredge Hotel Ambleside, Warby & Les and the lovely and talented Jeff Hill and Mark Freegard without all of whom I would not have resurrected my passion!
