  • Bio

Well I've been playing with myself for a long time now... sometimes other people let me play with them. My E.P. is called Ms Fi & the MisFits in Songs from the City of Edinburgh. You can buy mp3 downloads from www.scotloads.co.uk/ or buy the cd in all its slendid artwork glory online from www.secretcds.co. I write songs because I can't help it. I also play acoustic and electric guitar. I do the vocal stuff aswell. "Fiona's ability to craft her lyrics so that they echo the sentiments of the melody, without losing their story telling capacity is admirable" OOTB review

Me. This is myspace where I put up my stuff. Sometimes this will be me working with other people - the Flowers - Flowers for Algernon, or Jamie in YVK9V, or maybe you someday who knows? for my last EP I worked with Norman Lamont, Les Makin, Karen Austin and Nelson Wright not forgetting Lindsay Sugden doing some glock all at Daniel Davis' Windmill Sound studio. Recently the Thom Boys - Norman, Sam Barber and the G have been backing me.

Bio:

Well I've been playing with myself for a long time now... sometimes other people let me play with them, but not for very long. I collaborate with Jamie in YV9VV. I was in Flowers for Algernon and went from backing vocals, to some lead electric guitar, lead vocals, tunes. Still waiting for the posthumous Flowers for Algernon EP - it will have some of my song songs on it. I am currently without a full time band to play in. I inveigled some friends to play on my forthcoming EP. See blog for details. It will be available this spring/summer, as am I. My new CD is called Ms Fi & the MisFits in Songs from the City of Edinburgh. You can buy mp3 downloads from www.scotloads.co.uk/ or buy the cd in all its slendid artwork glory online from www.secretcds.co.uk/ I am available to play, sing, make weird noises for whoever asks. I am also looking for folk to play gigs with. I call myself a songwriter first and foremost. I write songs because I can't help it. I also play acoustic and electric guitar. I do the vocal stuff aswell. "Fiona's ability to craft her lyrics so that they echo the sentiments of the melody, without losing their story telling capacity is admirable" OOTB review
