Generator and Transmit Consulting have produced new music business development units for delivery as a one day bite size workshops. This workshop will help bands, producers and labels promote their own music to their fans, the media and the music industry. It will help you put together DIY marketing campaigns if you want to release your own material. Most successful artists have had their own ‘records’ out before being signed to bigger labels and this Compact will help you to take your own music to the marketplace.
This event is hosted by The Bunker in Sunderland and also has a guest speaker who currently works in A&R for a major label and has run a DIY label himself. There will also be an opportunity to listen to some of your music on the day and discuss the best strategies for its marketing and promotions.
A ‘release’ is generally the best way to present a band to the media, the music industry and to your fans. This workshop will show you how to put your own ‘records’ out, how to market them and how to generate revenue from your music.
These courses are free to attend but will be restricted to so please register interest asap, this is a one off opportunity.
..Okay, will try for the Scala gig in lieu of Hoxton. Can't believe it's been more than a year since I last talked to you at the Pure Groove instore...
What's up Field Music? Your hair sends forth a sheen remniscent of golden sunlight winding through shadows. A starfish's lifelong hallucinations of gelatin pools and of actuaries floating upon the foam and reciprocal ohm. Please let me hear more of that wonderful sound. In your absence I am forced into finding other forms of amusement while thinking about you. How can I help but use your eyes as a means for self-asphyxiation? Your sweet voice is like the application of aloe vera upon a sunburnt back. The skin I shed is a perfume that makes water bubbles so terribly clear to me. Your intoxicating reflection can but incorporate freely into the powerful surface of a disintegrating mirror set afloat upon a swarm of locusts. Your layers of absinthe and torsion form concretions of hyper-alimentation. You breath as delicately as vapors flowing towards an attractive flame. I relentlessly desire cotton candy lollipops. I keep searching for you between the cushions. The stickers hugging the fruit smell better than the perfume of ambergris.
