Emma Wilkinson has been singing since she was six but decided she wanted to make a career out of it aged 13 and wrote to record companies with her demo tape. When she recieved a letter from folk singer Kate Rusby saying ''what a lovely voice you have'' that made her want to achieve her dream more than anything else. Emma recently completed her BTECH 1st diploma level 2 in acting at Newbury College. She loves singing and acting and wants to fall back on acting if singing fails. Emma is a passionate singer who can sing both ballads and uptempo. Her strong,powerful vocals are what makes Emma who she is today.Her different,fresh and unique vocals make people listen to her voice and want to hear more.. Emma says '' Since the age of 6 i have loved performing. My first solo performance was at Barnsley college when i was 16 which was exciting but scary. I might not be thin but being pear shaped makes me who i am and makes me want to keep living the dream. Large singers can make it too - look at Michelle McManus and Adele.
