We are a new group of musicians/film makers and producers
specialising in world/dance and chillout music. Formed in 2002 by Simon Willams
and Phil Thornton, Earthdance is all about working with musicians and artists from
all over the globe to create a unique blend of music with an infinate range of sounds
and possibilities. Having already travelled/worked and performed with musicians
from a wide range of countries including Ukraine/Gambia/Israel/Brazil/Egypt and India.
Earthdance are planning more collaborations, travels, festivals and concerts for 2007/8.
We exist both as a live act and as a music and film/production company.The first
Earthdance release was the 150,000 selling 'Buddha Experience' collection released in
2003. A new album and live show are currently being worked on for a May 2007 release. all about celebrating the diverse culture of the globe and
expanding the boundaries of world music. By working with musicians from
all over the world and mixing traditional instruments and tribal songs with
cutting edge digital music technology our aim is to explore what makes the
Earth dance and create an exciting new sound that evolves as we take the
mobile studio to an ever changing cast of musicians and artists.
