   Dutch Elm Conservatoire's Blurbs
About me:
Now, before we get heavily involved and we're sitting on the edge of the bed and it's all gone a bit awkward, we should point out that this is not our "official" website with all our reviews and downloads that sort of thing. If you're looking for that, then click here. Still here? Then what can we say ... we're four likely-looking, upstanding gentleman of good report, who came together in the cold winter of 2003 and have never strayed since. Well, one of us strayed, got a bit lost, and hasn't come back - but that's another story for another day. We write and perform what people often described as "critically acclaimed" sketch shows, although these people are normally also on our payroll. Well, you know what they say: keep your friends close, and your enemies closer. Didn't work for Nina Myers in 24, but it's generally a good way of doing things. We started out doing live shows on the London and Edinburgh fringe - in 2005 we got nominated for the Perrier Award, don't-ya-know, and more recently have been making stuff for TV and radio ... although like the proverbial serial killer, we can't help returning to the scene of the crime - hence a national tour, and our return to Edinburgh in 2006 for the third year running with a show called PRISON.
Who I'd like to meet:
Gary Wilmot (again), Roger Moore, Eric Bana, Carlos Bernard

Cheers for adding me guys. Loved your comedy. My stuff is a little amaturish at the moment but I'd love to one day get it to that sort of standard.

Greetings from the salubrious streets of Stoke-on-Trent. A city so apathetic most women find it a total waste of make up... Thanks for the add. Keep on rockin' in the nanny state.

Thought you might find this mildly amusing... It's the mini-movie of me & Queen Elizabeth II playing poker... It features my good mate Leo Sayer (yes, the 70's pop icon!) as the Queen and is now viewable on the web, courtesy of the folks at youtube.com (although whoever copied it to youtube unfortunately clipped off the punchline at the very end!)..

It also features a guest appearance from Little Britain's Steve Furst....

A nutty little performance, but it was a good laugh doing it!

You can see it on either my myspace page or at youtube:

Lotsa love,

Hello Dutch Elm Conservatoire. (What's all that about!!?? Mad name!) My name's Gary Severoux and I write raw rock music that makes you think. I'm not really into comedy, but someone told me you guys are well worth checking out. I haven't got time for all that, but good luck and if ever you're in town (Pulborough, West Sussex) check The Plastik out. We're brilliant.
