About me:

This is a tribute page to the greatest Slide guitarist ever to live. Howard Duane Allman AKA 'Skydog'. Born on November 20th, 1946 in Nashville, Tennesee. Died on October 29th, 1971 in Macon, Georgia. Duane was the founding member of The Allman Brothers Band with his brother Gregg. Members of the original six include Duane Allman, Gregg Allman, Dickey Betts, Jai Johanny Johanson, Butch Trucks, and Berry Oakley. Although Duane is no longer with us, his music and spirit will live on.
