Jeez, my tastes are vast.....studied classical music at RCM - i'm particularly enamoured with the baroque period so I love a bit of Handel and Scarlatti! Harpsichords just f*ucking rock! I adore Schuberts 'death and the maiden'- can't even describe how much I love this string quartet. Other than that my ipod and CD collection is pretty eclectic and that doesn't mean I am mainstream and can't make up my mind - like some music fascists would say!! I'm not ashamed to say that I have the sound track to Priscilla Queen of the desert!! I love it. I adore My Dying Bride - they are truly amazing. I'm a U2 addict, having seen the band all over the world!! Bono just makes me die!!! I'm a huge fan of The Police and Sting (swoooooooon) and love a bit of Guns N Roses, Pink Floyd, NIN and Tool. Trent Reznors voice just makes me wanna die and go to heaven - I LOVE IT! I like a bitta punk stuff- The Clash, pistols, Angels and Airwaves, The Gallows, but ........ I totally ADORE Chrissie Hynde and the Pretenders and try to see as many of their gigs as possible! (...Did I say that I adore Chrissie Hynde??? Did I?) Marrying Juliette Lewis is definately on my agenda but I'm not sure shes that kinda girl! ;-) Check out her band Juliette and the Licks if you haven't already! I'm also totally into Bob Dylan, Patti Smith, Devendra Banhart (totally groovy toons) Joan Baez and am also a fan of, Katatonia, Dead can Dance, Anathema, Devin Townsend, Akercocke and loads of other stuff I can't remember right now! I have been known to swoon shamefully at Alison Goldfrapps music - she has the most luscious voice and is amazing live. As a teenager I was addicted to Tori Amos - I still appreciate her amazing piano playing and kooky ways - she really influenced the way I saw myself as a woman and a pianist. I used to listen to nothing else but Tori ... and now shes making a revival on my ipod. Kate Bush is a legend too - I couldn't survive without her records! Kate Bush, Kate Bush oh sumblime, divine, genius Kate Bush!!! Pleeeeeease write some more music for us!! I'm still crazy about Ani Difranco - talented, gorgeous and wired to the moon. Perfection. Ummm....I think thats covered it for now. Yeah. Um. Chrissie Hynde. Hmmm. Gorgeous. I love you. juliette Lewis on RevolT TV!
