"Highlife" single for NRG dancerecords Summer 2012

MRFLORIAN

Florian was born in Montreal, Canada, not so long ago, he grew up in Quebec city, precisely in Levis on the south shore. He was singing even before he learned how to ride a bicycle… Former lead singer for several thrash metal band (Genocide, Dissection with whom he signs his first record contract for the Lp «Final Genocide») From the time he was a child his interests centered on literature, art and history. This contributed towards his playing folk music and the blues as he traveled from city to city like a “Bohemian-Gyspy.” After many adventures in Old Europe with his back pack and his guitar Florian decides to settle in Paris, where he lives selling poems and short stories. He sold his works in the streets, cafes and restaurants. He shared his music wherever he could. He could still be seen and heard until a couple of years ago, singing and playing his music in the metro, or wherever he could. Back In 2001 Florian was fortunate to meet Nicolas Richard a French composer/arranger, with whom he begins a collaboration in studio singing on demos for many well knowned artists in France, such as Florent Pany, Jane Birkin and many others. Their association leads to the release of the album, “Rêve de saison,” produced by Claude Cayla, in 2003. In the summer 2004, Florian is introduced by the colorfull Franky Fonell, to electro music scene, and to the young Swiss producer Chris Reece. Together they will record a few projects for Zurich area’s local DJ’s. In 2005 Florian is on the Zurich’s « Street Parade » Compilation; that year, one of the best sellers cds in Switzerland, with the track: « Feed me » (35 000 cds sold) The year after, they are on the « Street Paradise » compilation, (summer 2006) with two tracks;« Sweet sensation » and « sexy girl » Few months later, the internationaly famous german producer: Frank Farian, (BonyM, Millie Vanelli, La Bouche, Terrence Trent D’Arby) after hearing the song « Sexy Girl » contacts Florian and invites him several times to the « Rossbach studios » in Frankfurt Germany to offer him the first part for his music-hall: «Daddy cool » presented in London and in Berlin… This is no problem for him to be produced by Mr Frank Farian, it's even quite an honor! but Florian is not really warm at this point for the music-hall things… They stay in touch for the whole year…but nothing concrete happened unfortunately… Though Mr Farian generously provides some substantial means to Florian to record many demo-songs with Chris Reece in his studios in Zurich…among other songs they record «Smile!» And « Dangerous man » (now both available on itunes) He also records a remix of Depeche mode “Enjoy the silence” one of the world’s biggest electro track in the year 2007… Between the end of 2006 and the fall of 2007, Florian recorded (again whith Chris Reece) many tracks for several djs; Tanja Lacroix, Mr Pink, Frank Anthony… tracks like: « shake it », « Voglia di mare », « Angel’scream » or the excellent technopop track:« Moonlight madness » (all available on itunes) are all from this period… There,in the middle of the year 2007 also emerged Mrflorian1 on myspace and youtube… In early 2008, Florian was back working with Chris Reece to participate to the album of the highly celebrated swiss trance and awarded Djane: Tatana. Soulmate came out of that collaboration, (released by Syrup Music/TBA records. Radio single for Album: “Tatana” gold record in Switzerland) Check out as well the dj Dinka remix of soulmate published on many house prog. Compilations all around the world. In june of the same year, Florian co-writes Marshmallow Dream with Chris Reece. Wich is released in December 2008 and gets top 10 of the most downloaded tracks on track it down and Juno for the first trimester of 2009 He enchains in february 2009 with a release for one of the most sucessfull djs in Switzerland; Mr Da-nos for whom Florian wrote together with Joe Calabrio “ Miss Sunshine” radio single for the Danos Album “All in one” now available on itunes.Check out as well the Mike Candy’s remix of “Miss Sunshine” published in many electro Compilation all around Europe… Still for Mr Danos he co-writes “World Apart” released on the dj’s following album ; “Tattoo” In November of the same year, with dj Pilgrim, are released 8 great mixes of the 80’s atomic smashing hit « wild boys » and was promissing to do pretty well on beatport, Juno, track it down and of course itunes… But unfortunatly did'nt obtain the expected results... In early 2010, Florian decides to move for Serbia and settles in Novi Sad...There, he is contacted on the internet by 2 young producers Abdul Bayyarri from Qatar, and Shota Mochizuki from Japan...to start up a new collaboration...they elaborate 2 new electro songs; "Night to remember" and "Highife" exchanging thoughs and view through internet... In March Florian records the vocals of both tracks in Belgrade... They decide to go on, together with more songs and a video clip for a very ambitious project " an electro Pop Opera" you'll hear about it...it's sill in process...already 6 songs has been recorded and mixed... December 2010 is under a good sign, for MrFlorian... Due to the excellent result of "Blue Sunday" on the downloading platefoms, Mrflorian release his second Digital Opus " Perfect Haze" Wich hadalready an excellent anticipated release as free downloading on the «WINDOWS.7 AUDIOLIBRARY» for 7 consecutive weeks in the winter 2010 This new digital opus is including 7 pop easy listening tracks (2 in french) ...produced in Paris with Nicolas Richard in july 2009... For the winter of 2011 florian returns to Serbia to write 8 new songs that he records and finalizes in Paris last june/july along with Abdul and Shota at the AnnaSanders’ films studios in Paris... The first remixe of the 8 new tracks; "Highlife" by Anushka De'Sai from Kuala Lumpur is about to be released out now on the NRG dance records Summer 2012 Compilation; Boundless Desire who just hit the #2 on the Juno world sales Charts!! ...It's on young dutch label NRG dance records and it's already promising to be a huge track on the Electro Progressive house scene this summer... check it out!
