The legend in her own "lunch hour" that has become DIVA BLISS began as a recording project for producer Paul T on the Delicious label in the UK. Having met, interviewed and worked with DIVINE in the late 80's Paul felt there was a need for a new larger than life character on the NRG music scene who could inject some fun, comedy and not be taken too seriously. Paul had also recorded LILY SAVAGE alongside a former business associate. The wigs are made by Rupaul/Diana Ross' wigmaker in Los Angeles and the costumes are also made specifically from his own designs. A record release was put together with a "double A" side single of a cover of the camp Sarah Brightman Disco classic "I LOST MY HEART TO A STARSHIP TROOPER" backed with the theme from "LA CAGE AUX FOLLES" given the dance treatment. To Paul's surprise DIVA outsold all the other releases on the Delicious label and was also licensed overseas. Tours of the UK, USA and Europe commenced and to this day is still performing live. Diva is now embarking on a new recording/production contract and is recording an album of original material for release very soon. A DVD release of DIVA BLISS Unleashed! is also being finalised. TV APPEARANCES INCLUDE: MILE HIGH (SKY ONE), GMTV, THE JONATHAN ROSS SHOW (BBC), THE MAKING OF KINKY BOOTS (ITV), OUT OF THE CLOSET (UK LIVING), UK GAY TV (UK LIVING). FILM 2005 (BBC).
