Souped-up and pulsing music combines elements of solid rock music, Czech lyrics and energy of traditional songs and melodies from Brittany, Ireland and other Celtic countries. Band performed on the same stage with various famous artists including legendary breton harpist Alan Stivell, Oscar winning Glen Hansard, Czech Music Academy winners Divokej Bill, or punk legend and well known Slovakian band Horkyze Slize. .... In 2006, band released their first album called Disk O'Brass under the label Indies Records. Widely accepted by critics, it was almost sold out in 1 year and had to be re-released. .... Dick O'Brass is stuffed with highly experienced musicians: Pepa Kustka is one of the most respectful guitarists in the Central Europe and he stood behind building of the Czech artrock music scene in 1970s, as a member of such formations as Blue Effect, Gen, Bacily, Bohemia. Jirka, Ales and Tomas were members of famous band ZOO, which shaked the still waters of Czech showbussiness with Celtic sound and energy during 1990s. Band leader and highland pipes player Tomas also founded Bran, an icon for the modern Breton fusion in CZ.
