If your lucky enough to go for a SOUNDWAVE Event than you will no doubt experience the finest Run Festival in the whole of the world and I've played them ALL!
The bands run Nonstop All day , with various stages next to each other so you won't miss a thing , the grounds were clean , the catering and accommodations fucking stellar!
If you get the feeling I had fun ?.. Wait it gets better!
This year there where 68 bands!
Yes 68 bands!
Ranging from Metal , Iron Maiden , Slayer, DevilDriver , to pop like 30 sec to mars or sum 41 , and huge mix of diversity .... Which was very refreshing to see other bands doing there thing.
DevilDriver Sets were off the hook as Usual and I can't say enough about the pits and crowd surfing happening, it was unreal!
The Security must be commended for doing such a fantastic job of actually taking care of people!
Day after day we all travelled together on buses to planes then to the gigs it was a site to behold for sure watching the airports get invaded with Black TShirts LOL .
To all the Australian DD People we thank you for making us top 10 in your country , number 9 is NO easy task , specially with the likes of BEAST our new record as it is defiant in nature and NOT your standard Metal record even for DevilDriver .... So thank you so much for the support !

I was in Brisbane, and Melbourne, for Soundwave festival, and yes, EVERYONE should come to Australia at least once in thier lifetime! You might love it like we do and decide to stay here forever!! By the way, you blokes rocked it, I reckon you were better than when I saw you with L.O.G. and Where Shadows Fall, in Brisbane last year, AWESOME!!!
