"THE INSIDERS" Are back !!! CLASSIC VINTAGE ROCK & ROLL. Doing songs from Buddy Holly to Tom Petty. We still play our original 1983 local hit Zug Island Blues..upon request. Dale Morrison continued the Insiders name for several years with Mike Hicks who has passed on and Tim Gawlinski our original Bass player who is excellent. Some songs on this page do not depict what our band does but are my own recordings. We try to do some good obscure oldies also..Like "Little Black Egg" by The Nightcrawlers , "Love's Gone Bad" by The Underdogs ,SWLABR by Cream, and "Open up your Door" by Richard and the Young Lions, & Sweet Nothins by Brends Lee. We do the more popular Oldies too, Roy Orbison "Pretty Woman" & " Candy Man" , The Last Time , Del Shannon , "Little Town Flirt" Beatles, Dion - Runaround Sue, etc..... The U.S. Government let a Japanese NKK Steel Company take over National Steel in the 90's, later to be sold out in a hostile takeover by U.S.Steel Corporation after 9/11 who swallowed up Pensions and Legacy cost in planned ruthless takeover. The Union lost track of the Money in the pension fund as it dipped below the legal limits. U.S. Steel gave special deals to certain supervisors to leave and some to stay on. The Pensions were taken over by the PBGC. Workers with over 30 years continued to work and collect a pension while working side by side with their co-workers who had 20-29 1/2 years and got nothing but totally screwed. As the Fascist took over Canadian Steel Mills this was not allowed - Only in America. By the way - all the bail outs are illegal .. you can't buy out then bail out... the pension fraud is immoral , yet legal ? All the Band-aids will come loose, infection will set in ,and we be stuck with a dirty sticky wound. MR ZUG ISLAND BLUES DON'T JUST TAlK THE TALK , HE WALKS'S THE WALK Although he write songs to protest War and may seem harsh when it comes to injustice done sometimes by Government agencies, He does fight and believe in Freedom of speech and rights to speak your mind. He just believes the Country is spending too much on Big Corporate Bail Outs and Special interest groups. He does not blame soldiers or individuals who have been put in places oof War. He Supports Michigan Veterans of foriegn War. He donates to DAV - Disabled American Veterans. Here is prove. He also donates to several Childerens Groups. Make Wish and Childhood Leukemia Foundation. He does not like to brag about this but thought it necessary to devulge. The Insiders also play Benefits when asked to play if avialable and donate time and equipment.
