...... ................................................................................................................................................................................................................................ ALL HAIL THE KINGS of street rock 'n' roll! Having honed their stunning sound, this masterful quartet have nailed their in-yer-face yet melodic punk rock that will grab you by the throat, slap you on the cheek and give a cheeky grin. With there very infectiously energetic and powerful live show, these heavily tattooed North Eastern lads are the real deal. And with a new releases on the horizon, 2010 is set to be the year of Crashed Out. The amazing journey of Crashed Out dates back to 1995. As 15 and 16 year old kids, they soon went from punk covers to unleashing their declaration of intent on independent label-released debut album 'This Is Our Music' in 1996. The point was drilled home with their aptly-titled second album 'Here Now & Real' in '98. With the addition of Decca Wade on drums, the band developed a fresh sound that combined the urgency of punk rock with the musicianship and full-on force of rock, drawing on influences such as AC/DC, Rancid, Motorhead and The Dickies. Self-releasing their 2001 third album 'Back For More' Crashed Out were rolling on. Touring extensively through the UK and Europe, the boys looked back with their 'best of' album 'Working Class Aggression' (including cuts from their first three records and released on Germany's DSS Records) in 2003, the same year they made a video for future live favourite 'The Jarrow Song'. 2005 was a breakthrough year for Crashed Out, with the critically acclaimed fourth album 'Pearls Before Swine' hitting stores through the highly respected Captain Oi! Records. The four-piece took their raucous anthems all over the UK and Europe in 2006, and even headed over the Atlantic with an extensive US West Coast tour. Impressing American crowds, US label SOS Records released their 'The One And Only' album in 2007. However, that year also saw Decca leave the band. After trying out a couple of drummers, Crashed Out solidified their current line-up early last year with the addition of the Johnny Halling, delivering "sweat and enthusiasm". Joining banter-loving founding frontman and Viking Tattoo Studio owner (www.vikingtattoostudio.co.uk) Chris Wright, fellow tattooist, brother and axeman ace Lee Wright and thundering bass powerhouse Geordie Brown, Crashed Out are now an unstoppable and focused punk 'n' roll force, proved by their first live album 'Fast Loose N Live', released in 2008 on their own I Want It Records. Having toured and played alongside punk legends such as Rancid, The Adicts, The Undertones, The Misfits, The Damned, The Dead Kennedys, Stiff Little Fingers, The Levellers and many more, the band's rousing live reputation is hard earned and has to be witnessed at one of their many upcoming shows. 2009 saw Crashed Out release a split vinyl single with Spain's Secret Army, and in Sept 2010 the band release their fifth Album: Crash & Burn on Germanys I hate People Records. Raise ya glasses, shout out "cheeeaaaz" and sing along loud and proud - Crashed Out want you to become one of the boys. ........ .. .. .. .. .. ............................ .. .... ........ ............Myspace Layouts.. - ..Myspace Editor.. - ..Hot Comments.. - ..Image Hosting....

  • Sounds Like

We have our own unique sound,So we've been told!! but you could hear a little bit of this thrown in there: Motorhead meets The Angelic Upstarts meets Rancid meets ,AC/DC and a bit of,Toy Dolls! just give us a listen and make your own mind up!! .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. REVIEWS::::: 3-Rock Radio Community punk at it's cheerful best, boistous tunes coupled with standard old skool sentiments and rejection of the selfish and greedy aspects of todays society. Mixing a few reggai riffs and some stylish chanting with chugging punk guitar riffs and bashing drums, 'crashed out' will appeal to all true punkers and could attract the kids away from the bubblegum version of american punk that has become so tiresome and pointless. An album full of commitment and honest sentiment. ........................................................................................................... CRASHED OUT - Demo: Six tracks here and these piss all over the Street Punk bands doing the rounds in the UK at the moment. This demo kicks off with ..Fast N Loose.. then it's just great Street Punk tunes all the way through and some great numbers like ..Heroes.. and ..Scream N Shout.. finishing with a reworked ..The Jarrow Song... For those that don't know Decca Wade the original Upstarts drummer plays on here and a top drummer to boot. The guitarist and bassist are spot on with some great tunes and not forgetting the vocalist either. They make a great band and here's hoping 2005 is their year. (Self Financed) 9/10 ...... .......................................................................................................... Review taken from UK Base website (7 Tracks CD CRASHED OUT Records) Don't know much about CRASHED OUT apart from their from Jarrow, Tyne & Wear. This is one of the best examples of Old School mid paced Punk I've heard in a long time. There are a few bands around at the moment who play this late 1970's style punk but none pull it off as well as these lads. The songs are catchy and well performed with good production which makes this a most for all you good time Punker's. There's even back up from a piano that just adds to the whole thing and doesn't sound cheesy at all, no it gives it the edge. The vocals are perfect for this style of music with cool backups added, which just makes the feet tap uncontrollably. For all you Blink 182 fans this probably would not appeal but if you like the lighter side of bands like Bombshell Rocks, Rancid then you will see the appeal in this band. Come on give CRASHED OUT a chance now...you may find yourself well surprised. ................................................................................................................ ...............................................................................................................
