Hi, guys, An idea just struck me. It didn't hurt, but it needs to be shared. Don't know if pm-ing's on, and Facebook's far too freaky, so going to jump in with it here.
You know how you're going on tour, soon? And it's in New Zealand, and Australia… And that's fantastic! And it's also far away from most places not NZ or Oz…
Well, how about if there was a thing set up, at one of your upcoming concerts, where it LIVESTREAMS that show to pre-signed, online audiences, abroad?
And that streamed show could be the Christchurch concert!!!
Say streaming the gig is a even consideration… There'd be TONS of overseas fans who'd give their righties to see you play in realtime. Again, even! And the insane time differences? NO importance!
And a charity concert for Christchurch, by FotC? What an chance to contribute to, and be witness to a funny, funky, humanitarian event, inspired!
(Then, factor in the gig being part of FotC's long-awaited, world-celebrated, already-legendary Homecoming tour…)
Imagine... for that one night, we ALL get to be together: You, Christchurch, All the FotC-ers of the world…
Sharing in the good times, good laughs, good cause-- with no geographic boundaries.

Adding on: Perhaps, even, a big company, like Air NZ, may be interested in collaborating! They could sort the techs, and host the platform for the concert stream...
All e-seat proceeds are added to your donations-- and Air NZ could have the ad space around the stream window.
Not only has FotC also been a big influence in putting New Zealand on the travel map, recently, but it's for a charitable cause!
Anyway, guys, there it is. Maybe it's a daft idea, or maybe there's something to it… but, it wanted to be shared.
