About me: I'm a comedian of above average height who has been standing-up, writing columns and the odd book and making radio and television programmes for the last thirteen years or so, maybe even fourteen by the time you read this. I am an intensely private person, as I discuss in my various volumes of self-published autobiography.
Caving in to pressure and the inevitable twin marches of time and fashion, I have spent the last hour reserving my own little bit of MySpace whilst keeping half an eye on 'Grand Designs'. I'll try and update it from time to time, but it's worth your noting at this point in our relationship that motivating myself has never come naturally to me.
The nice people at Lampeter Webnauts Design run a website for me, if you're hungry for further inadequate information.
What's that you say? When's 'In The Loop', the film I'm in, directed by Armando Iannucci and loosely adapted from his hit BBC TV series 'The Thick of It' (which I'm also in) out? Oh, how kind of you to ask. It's out on April 17th, since you ask. Here have a go on this trailer:
Alex is being subjected to a psychological analysis test, as are all the college's employees. How will he deal with this dose of beauracratic hell? Comedy from the BBC - Lab Rats.
Alex and Cara are coming to terms with the financial difficulties of the college. Alex is concentrating on solar power but Cara's more persuaded by the energy efficiency of fruit. Comedy from BBC's Lab Rats.
just rewatched the christmas special The Thick Of It, loved it again, and thought I would pop by and say hello, and I look forward to hopefully seeing you live in London soon.
You were great on Just A Minute! Second place, not shabby at all...:) Hard to beat Paul these days....' By the way, you need to release a stand-up DVD!
Hey, thanks for accepting my add. Also, thanks for being so funny and doing Lab Rats, I must've watched it about ten times in the past three days. You have saved me from certain holiday death by boredom! Laters! XXXX :)
caught you at bugjam at the weekend, you had a hard act to follow but you managed to pull it off lol.no it was excellent,i was literally in tears of laughter, keep up the good work
Two things Chris Addison.
1. I do hope I get the DVD before I turn 30 (you have 11 days)
2. We were in Sydney this time 2 years ago and I could still say I was in my 'late twenty's'
Hi Chris, you were funny on 8 out of 10 cats! I used to watch that thing the Alphabet Show you did with Lauren Laverne. I thought you made a cute couple, not that I'm implying there was any hanky panky going on! Have a good week!
hey chris cheers for the add mate!big fan son,you owned 8/10 cats: bloody awesome mate.I think yourself and russell howard are the best 2 comedians around at the minute:comedy gold.hope you do swansea one day soon pal.all the best chris!
Hi Chris, many thanks for the add. I think your contribution to The Thick of It is terrific, and I also really enjoyed your Middle England doc earlier this year. Maybe I'll get to see one of your live gigs sometime, that would be fun. Kind regards, SH
Hey, I only left 'cos I'm meant to be writing this new show - instead I'm leaving strangely tangential comments on Mr Addison's myspace site. Ooh, did you notice how I rendered myspace in lowercase there? They'd wanna be watching out for that; the next thing you know it's in the dictionary and you lose your proprietorial rights - ask Kleenex.
Anyway, I'm good, thanks for asking - oh, that's right, you didn't. How's the little 'un, Mister A?
