The clanging punk-infused indie rock of Children Collide was born from the partnership of guitarist/vocalist Johnny Mackey and bassist Heath Crawley; the group later also included a drummer named Ryan.
Emerging out of the Melbourne pub scene, their melodic yet abrasive sound sometimes garnered Children Collide comparisons to American rock heroes Sonic Youth and Nirvana. The guys released the six-song EP We Three, Brave and True in 2005, followed late the next year by the Glass Mountain Liars EP on Australia's Flying Nun Records. ~ Corey Apar
