Sir Vinyl of the Fattest presents Daz-I-Kue (Bugz In The Attic) Saturday 13th / September @ Sandsifter (Godrevy) / 9-3 / £5
Saturday the 13th of September sees the Sir Vinyl crew celebrate a cracking summer season at the brilliant Sandsifter club (Godrevy) with special guest and fellow vinyl lover Daz-I-Kue. A highly respected producer and engineer in his own right, Daz has been doing his thing for quite some time and is currently rocking both sides of the Atlantic with his tightly-programmed but foot loose productions, splitting his time between Atlanta USA and London England. Although being a prominent exponent of the rump shaking West London Broken Beat sound, his diverse and extensive back catalogue is held together by the common threads of soul, funk and creativity. No matter the genre or BPM Daz keeps the bass bumping and the sound crisp. Expect a floor shaking Dj set that draws from the full spectrum of soulful music, past, present and future: Boogie to Broken Beat, Hip Hop to Soul, House to Bashment. Daz-I-Kue will be supported by the Sir Vinyl residents, Andy Mac, Catrina D’Olive, Dave Spenceley and Will Vegas.
Watch out for future Sir Vinyl events, more heavy weight guests and rude movements coming soon in 2008 and beyond.
Beautiful cello sounds...love it!
