Bio
The band was formed by Rob Reeves and Nick Leigh with the initial inspiration and desire to play energetic and hypnotic music which we enjoyed listening to and there was not enough of at the time! Having then been joined by the legendary Marky Crowe on guitar and the genius of Mr. Adam Crowe behind the drums, we have been playing gigs and festivals around the Northwest with the aim of getting our hypnotic take on post-punk into the consciousness of the listener. Having put ourselves in the public domain we since signed to the wonderful Lakeland Records Limited in 2009. Our debut album 'This Aggression' was released in November 2009 by the label, having been recorded and produced at Linden Sounds studios with Guy Forrester (of OMD's 'Sugartax' fame). The album was available to download from the major download sites including: i-tunes, e-music, amazon, HMV etc. Sadly the label died in June 2010, so we are an unsigned band once again! Thanks to band associate Amy Pearson and to Mr. David John Duckworth of Lakeland Records Limited. Many thanks also to Meg Bamber for the artwork on the album and to Guy Forrester for engineering and mixing the record. Support your South Lakes! -
