Please be informed that G. Wood/Undercover Bonobos have posted a new song entitled "Seeds" on their Myspace music player. We strongly advise that you review this material carefully. Your commentary is welcomed.
Analysis: We have been informed that this song sounds like a Communist Collective work song. We are further advised that it may be misconstrued as a treatise on the cultivation of illegal herbage. We are cautioned that some listeners may experience a shift in psychological set and setting during the "psychedelic" interlude. Please report any activity of this nature forthwith.
This song may be intended and interpreted as a tribute to the late, great, Sky Saxon.
We gratefully anticipate your thoughts on this matter.
If you're not all sick to death of my shameless regression into post-adolescent angst and trashpop jangle, you may have a slight interest in the two new songs I've just uppered to my page. As always, your comments gracefully accepted. Thank you for your indulgence.
Hi Calvin! Yes, I'm the big mouth you know from the Neil Innes forum! I'm glad I found you here, as now I can listen to some of your work (as soon as I sort out my slow computer woes). All the best with the music!
Ahaha! That is absolutely hilarious as that is the only tune (bar Charlie Big...) that I don't actually play on.
Ahahaha.
The man you are looking for is Teats Peaman. A bs gtr god. A Slovenian god at that.
Please bear in mind that they had a whole day to do the one tune whereas we did the whole rest of the album in two days... of which, much was extra vox and guitar etc...
Precisely 5 minutes was dedicated to the bass sound, of which 1 minute was constructive so there you go huh!
I am sorry to hear of the bluesbarn loss. Great stuff. But I understand.
I really understand. Truly.
My heart is with you.
I hope that we will see the reunion tour sooner rather than later.
