Bio:

I am first and foremost a bass guitar player, w/a little guitar/keyboards on the side. Currently I'm looking to collaborate (as a permanent member or as a "free hired gun" for just a show or two/I'm a very fast learner) with other local SoCal musicians to create some great original music, or let's learn some covers, and then put on some great shows! I really live to play LIVE! To me that is where the "magic of music" really happens! The band "settin' the hook" "drivin' the bus" and the whole audience just flyin' along! I am basically a SoCal musician, but if you want to travel/tour, then let's roll! But there are PLENTY/100s of opportunities here in the wonderful world of SoCal. and then I still get to sleep in my bed! I can/will also help with the booking and promotion aspects of any band I'm in. ______________________________________________________________ I started into the wonderful world of music at age 7 with lessons on the piano, (wish I had taken those more seriously at that age). French Horn and Trumpet in Jr. High, High School, and College. Got to tour Northern Calif. in High School, and 8 Asian Countries in College playing the FHorn, those experiences were a blast and will never be forgotten! The GUITAR started in High School. I can still remember learning Smoke on the Water, Freebird, Stairway2Heaven, Life in the Fast Lane, and SlowRide. To this day, two of my favorite shows I've played were a talent show and private party in HSchool, but more are coming! ______________________________________________________________ ..

I would compare my style of playing too... AdamClayton/U2, TimCommerford/RATM/AudioSlave, MichaelAnthony/VanHalen, DustyHill/ZZTop... TomHamilton/Aerosmith... Solid/Simple/Foundational/Heavy/Deep sound... Not too much/any flash/slap/pop... But will still "drive the bus" Wish I could take a few lessons from/My Bass Heros would be... Flea/RHCP, KristNovoselic/Nirvana, DugPinnick/KingsX... ChrisChaney/Jane'sAddiction/PanicChannel But we all dream...Right???
