Bohbi FM was born in the Ivory Coast, West Africa and now lives and performs mainly in London, England.
He is a songwriter, singer/songwriter, guitarist, keyboardist, percussion player and producer.
Bohbi FM plays a new style of music – POSCION MUZIK – which is the Patrimoine Original Spiritual Cultural Inter-Outer National.
Bohbi FM has a deep and rich musical heritage, he grew up drumming and singing and demonstrates he has “beat in his soul.”
As the Ivory Coast is a multicultural nation, Bohbi FM has developed his musical style surrounded by the emotive traditional sounds of his native land, the rhythms of other African countries, as well as French rock, pop, American R&B, Soul, Blues and Jazz.
When reggae started to fill the air waves in the Ivory Coast it captured the hearts of many young people, none more so than Bohbi FM. He went on to spend 6 months in Jamaica in the company of many reggae musical legends like: Aston Family man, Earl China, Burning Spear, Ziggy Marley and Ziggy's mother Rita Marley.
Bohbi FM performs his POSCION MUZIK onstage as "Bohbi FM and the DIASPORIANS". The band played at the African Centre in 1995, 1997 and again in 1998 as part of the promotion of African Music in England. The band has also performed at the WKD in Camden Town and in many venues in England as well as in Paris (France) A-la-Rochelle (france) and Senegal (Africa)
Bohbi FM & the Diasporians are currently preparing for a world tour to promote their third Album entitled: "Ismology".
