Beneva create contagious melodies with harmonies galore. They can switch from heart-felt epics to quirky radio friendly songs with ease.

With Nathan Bennett on Piano/Vocals/percussion and Malc Evans on Guitar/Vocals/Harmoncia, their voices blend together so well that reviewers have compared their overall sound similar to Simon and Garfunkel, The Beautiful South, Supertramp and even elements of The Beatles.

Over the past 5 years, Beneva have performed over 600 gigs around the UK supporting the likes of Wheatus, Captain, The Feeling, Baz Warne (The Stranglers), Phil Bates (ELO), Nick Hall (Fame Academy), Keisha White and FO Machete at venues such as The Forum London, Birmingham Barfly, Birmingham Academy, Birmingham Victoria Square, London The Garage, London Rock Garden, London Barfly, London The Fly, Greenbelt Festival, Birmingham Uni, Sunderland Uni, Liverpool Cavern Club and many many more.

In 2006, Beneva released their debut album 'I'll Say Just What I Mean' which went out on Catz Go Round Records in the USA but remained unsigned here in the UK. Also in 2006 Beneva had 2 songs feature in the Movie 'IN A MAN'S WORLD. This DVD can still be purchased from all Blockbuster, Morrissons and Tesco stores.

Beneva have had airplay on major local stations plus performed live sets on BBC Radio Birmingham, BBC Radio Lincoln, BBC Radio Coventry and Talksport Radio London. Between 2007 and late 2009 both Nathan and Malc went off to do their own solo projects. However, In 2010 expect some more Beneva live shows and lots of new songs! Maybe even a new EP or Album!
