    .. ..Ayesongs.. is the web music project of Mark Toner, guitarist, bassplayer and vocalist. It features music written by Mark and his friends over many years. Mark's chief associate in this project is Noel Chidwick, with whom many of the songs were written. .. .. Mark's band history has taken in rock, folk and religious music. In between a succession of careers as a student, a computer expert, a college lecturer and a solar physicist, he has played with the following bands. .. .. ....The Spiny Anteaters.. (East Kilbride, late 70s) ....The Travellers.. (Edinburgh, early 80s) ..Vigil Service Group (St Andrew's, Dumfries, late 80s) ..Some time out was taken in the 90s to get married to Ann and start bringing up Lucy and Simon. However, he had a brief appearance with the ..Panama Band.., when guitarist Noel Chidwick found it a little difficult to play at his own wedding. ..Informal Service Group (St John the Evangelist, Dumfries, current) along with son Simon on bass. ......Arbelos...., prog rock band (cyberspace, current) with aforementioned Noel Chidwick and introducing Alex Cook and Jenny Johnson. ......Flora Majora...., another prog rock band, this time consisting entirely of ..Flower Kings.. fans. Mark contributed to this project, working with Fred Lessing of ..Daymoon...
