    NEWS - Winter 2011-2012 It's been amazing year so far for the ashes band. They have gained the interest of some of the region's most well know producers, successfully completed several sell out shows across the region and made great headway with industry showcases attracting interest from labels and management companies all over the UK. Their latest five track EP is showcasing now on their sound cloud site click the link below to have a listen. The new recording was produced by Steve Whitfield famed for working with bands such as the cure, Trash Can Sinatra's, The Mission, Shed 7 and Black Wire to name but a few. The band has also recently worked with local legend, producer Will Jackson (Kaiser Chief's, The Pigeon Detectives, The Cribs, The Music). Ashes have already stacked up some great airplay with plays of their tracks on BBC radio Sheffield & Leeds, Dearne FM, Ridings FM, Radio Poplar & First Rock Radio. The new EP is gaining the band some excellent reviews as it showcases their talent superbly bringing to life their live power and timeless rock sound. The band has also gained great respect through winning the MGM's unsigned band award. The band is currently writing new material for their debut album to be released summer 2012. Several exclusive shows will be announced soon on this site as they prepare to test out the new material on audiences.
