Bio
Anthemicy were orginally formed as a 4 piece outfit with Si, Steve, Jack & Mike in the summer of 2006. Unfortunatly Mike had to go to uni and we found ourselves bassist/singer less!.... Anthemicy were on a hiatus until Christmas, when Lee was found on a musician finding website. Since then we've been busying ourselves with writing and recording our music..... Our aim is to create a musical cocktail of Metal riffs, progressive concepts and melodic vocals, to create a contrast that people can enjoy. We'd love for you all to listen to the tracks, tell us what you think! .. .. .. Band Reviews.... "Opening band Anthemicy stormed onto the stage, complete with flowing black hair and scrolling LED displays on their t-shirts. It was clear from their first song, Tread, that this band were for real. They took charge of the room confidently, and rocked the hardest slot of the night." - Megan Munro - Local Guardian .. .. .. .. .. We are available for any band or promoter looking fill a slot or two! just contact us at .. anthemicy@hotmail.com - Thanks! .. .. .... -

Thanks for supporting Soul Destruction.

Described as: 'like Soulfly if Trent Reznor were part of the band,' their debut album "There's No Profit in Truth", mixes the pent up frustration of acts such as Rage Against The Machine with the raging, highly charged riffs of classic Machine Head. Good, honest, politically aware and highly charged Metal at its best...
