"Andy Le Fevre is one of the best story tellers through his songs on the local music scene; mix that with great melody and assured performance and you have fabulous entertainment." Anver Anderson, Radio SaintFm.

Journey through the beautiful “Spirits” and Pearls” – described as "sheer elegance" by one Song-of-the-Year reviewer to the catchy beat of the title track “Raindance” that’ll have you stomping round your kitchen or camp-fire!

Each track tells a story from an original point of view - from the historic “Scrapfaggot Green” based on local history at Great Leighs, Essex; where the last witch is said to have been burned alive at the stake and buried under a large boulder – until it got moved inadvertently in WWII, to the charming “Safe and Sound” that will resonate with all age groups.

Experience “Life in Red City” (A Song-of-the-Year runner-up) and “The Other Side of My Hill” for your more reflective moments while “Shooting Star” and “Space and Time” will make you soar to another place!

Background to songs:

What's Up? - A Saint FM "Essence of summer" radio entry. Thanks to my daughter Ruth for the sun pose!

Scrapfaggot Green - One of the last 'witches' to be burned at the stake in Essex, England was buried at Scrapfaggot Green near the village of Great Leighs. They must have feared her because they used a a large boulder to cover her grave and imprision her. Then, in WWII, an American GI moved her stone...
The boulder can now be seen outside Saint Annes Castle at Great Leighs - see song cover picture.
There is even an account in TIME magazine and a file on her at Saint Anne's Castle, public house, of all the strange things going on in the area since that day...!

Spirits - inspired by the mood of Sarah McLachlan's beautiful music

The Other Side of My Hill - on a peacefull sunny day, a walk around the grounds of a disused church on top of the hill at Birchhanger contrasted the madness in the news every day with the beauty that surrounds us - just gotta take the time out to appreciate it more often!

Safe and Sound - what do folk who spend all their time looking out of the window all day, do with their time?

Space and Time - My friend Peter showed me a cool chord progression which I was able to develop and add some appropriate lyrics to try and capture the atmosphere.
