i especially am influenced by late 60s and early 70s s.f.bay area soul bands w/horn sections and a hammond! never got into the british groups ... i liked james brown and other soul-R&B american bands while we were being invaded by the british...i do like joe cocker but then he was heavily influenced by ray charles, another of my music heroes. (needless to say, i..m not fond of globalization even in music. -
