About me:
..A Foundation is a registered charity, established by James Moore in 1998, to promote, regenerate and challenge contemporary visual art in Liverpool.In Autumn 2006, A Foundation launched Greenland Street – three former industrial buildings that have been transformed into inspiring and challenging gallery spaces while retaining their historic character and industrial heritage. Located in the heart of Liverpool’s old port area and moments from the River Mersey, Greenland Street comprises The Coach Shed, The Furnace and The Blade Factory.

A Foundation also has a London based space at Rochelle School, Club Row. Based in an old victorian school house, Rochelle houses a variety of artists, collectives and designers, as well as providing a contemporary art space. It has been home to Bloomsberg's New Contemporaries and 13th - 20th March 2008 will see the launch of Agrifashionista, A Foundations first major London commission and curated by Grizedale arts.
