Bio
.Johnson is an indie folk singer songwriter from NE England. He learned to play the guitar in various electric blues bands that imploded before reaching their potential. He now seeks to craft acoustic based songs about, loss, loneliness, hope and triumph. Lighthouses, ships and the sea are recurring themes. Johnson's current projects include songs and words on the theme of his home town's fishing heritage. Recently he completed a self-titled EP with his friends at musikerecords.com, and home produced an EP of acoustic guitar instrumentals (available on ReverbNation and BandCamp). He was recently invited to submit songs to the folk music archive at the British Library, London. Future projects include further EPs and an album. Artistic collaborations are also sought across all musical genres.
