Silicone Soul's Darkroom Dubs label is on a hell of roll. After the stunning releases from Of Norway and last month Alex Niggemann & Marc Poppcke, the boys return with another new find, and a debut release for, Vlad Caia.
Having first caught the duo's attention via his 2009 tracks 'Aura' on Deeper Sounds of Raisani and 'Chango' on Horizontal, the Romanian who now resides in Norway was invited to release on DRD.
it was in high school that Vlad first came into contact with a Sequencer and Midi Keyboard. Those two small pieces of kit, set him on journey of experimentation which not only saw him producing on a home computer but also working with Hip-Hop artists and forming his own band.
As the modern club culture grew and evolved in Romania, Vlad was taking note of the musical and social changes. This lead to him delving deeper into the study of electronic music.
Not wanting to be tied to specific genres, Caia infuses his productions with a variety of sounds. Today he delivers three beautifully produced, deep and driving cuts your listening pleasure...
    Enjoy!
